Friday August 1st

It has been a busy fortnight, especially with it being Art Attack for four days a week. Skipping has been the theme of our Fitness as well as Jump Jam on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Abi skipping

Milan skipping.

Stanley's Paper Batik.
Next week our class attends Mass on Friday August 8th. The children will come to school on that day in their school uniform. Liz [Simon's Mum is organizing coffee after wards in the library]. Put the date in your diaries.

I have been meaning to send home this week a letter  re Nits. There was one case of it at the end of the term. When the Public Health Nurse came to the 'Welcome Wednesday' morning meeting on July 23rd she said that Parents should have a routine in place to check for nits. She suggested once a week.

When you visit Room 1 next week do check out the art! This week it was printmaking and next week we loom closely at the works of Eric Carle.
